Skippers in Silverdale

Good to know this place still exists. Quality Puget sound fish and chips. Thank you for reply Mike. I would definitely return . I was wondering is the fish and chips usually come with a few fries like I showed in my picture? That's all that came in meal.

The owner/operator is a wonderful guy. The food and service were both excellent.

Well that was an experience. We walked in, walked to the counter and stood there for 5 minutes with 5 to 6 different employees working not 2 feet from us, but no one addressed us or asked if they could help. The employees looked as us, but ignored us. I think it was because we were wearing masks. None of the employees were wearing masks. (and it's currently mandated in the state). Guess these guys don't believe in science or caring for their fellow man. I'm afraid I can't recommend this place and we were really looking forward to trying them.

So hate to say it but I wasnt out of the parking lot before I had to pull over and rid myself of the coconut shrimp I had just eaten. Husband had fish and clams, which he enjoyed. If he wants to return some time it'll be without me. Couldn't pay me to return. Sorry.

Went to skippers for my mom..I have never had a problem. Today I walk in and right at the register is a big pic of trump. Now I dont care what a person's political views are in private, but for a restaurant to blatantly display a picture of trump..speaks volumes. If the food had been for me..I would have turned around and left. I will not return to skippers again and will be calling the corporate office.

Not going out much with all the Covid 19 virus. Decided fish sounded good so stopped by Silverdale Skippers for some take out. Fish was fine but none of the staff were wearing masks as now required. When we asked about it the answer was the "Manager is not enforcing it"We won't be back soon. We would like to eat out and get takeout more often but if eating establishments can't bother to follow the rules we will scratch them from our list.

I was born and raised in Bremerton. We used to go here growing up and what's great about it, is that it's still just as good now as it was when I was growing up. The staff is friendly, the food is awesome and it's just a great place to be in. I've loved the fish and the clam chowder is the best! The only place I go to get my fish and chowder! So worth the drive when visiting Silverdale!

Yesterday my mother got the fish and chips. Today she woke up with food poisoning and the food wasn't even worth eating to begin with. I've been hesitant to visit myself and this settles it.

Not many good Skippers left. Fish and fries cooked to perfection. Nice and updated ambiance. Friendly staff, very clean establishment. I will definitely recommend to my friends. We LIKE this Skippers! Hubby agrees.

We are from Seattle and visited Silverdale this past weekend. When I found out there was still a Skipper's open it was almost like finding an open Blockbuster! I was so excited. The inside was clean, the bathroom's were clean, the food was great and the staff was friendly. They even went around to each table to make sure everything was alright!I'm sure my fiance and I will be making monthly trips from Seattle to Silverdale from now on!

Everything time I come here the food is great! Best seafood around, and military friendly.
